BioMy name is Janet - I am 23 years old, and live outside of Philadelphia. I am super involved in a group called
MEETin Philadelphia. I've had tons of fun since I have joined and there is a chapter in pretty much every major city. Check it out. My other interests are dragon boat racing. I was on the youth team USA in 2001 and competed in the World Championships. I only became re-involved with it last summer and would like to continue doing so. I love to read. I also am trying to get back into running, I used to run XC in high school.
I used to work as a realtor and property manager and I hated it, so I have decided I am going back to school to study interior design and now I work part time.
My life is pretty unique. I have custody of my younger brother and sister. This is something I am very proud of and I don't mind people asking me questions about it. The big ones: Q: Did you parents pass away? A: No. or- Q: Where are your parents? A: Well they are divorced but live in the same town I do. or Q: Why do you take care of your brother and sister A: Because my parents were doing a shitty job of it.
I have been recently diagnosed as having bipolar disorder. Suddenly alot of things about my life make a lot more sense. Alot of my posts have to do with this. Since this is new to me, I am trying to figure it all out.
